Because of their age, Ivy Kids students have very limited English vocabulary. However, they are excited learners and soak up information easily. |

8 - 12 years old | Ivy Master students have been studying at ECC in the Ivy Kids program, so their English is usually more advanced than regular Elementary students. We keep the classes separate because Ivy Master classes move faster and are more intense. |

8 - 12 years old | Elementary classes generally are slower paced in order to provide students with a more solid understanding of English fundamentals. |

The responsiveness of these students in the classroom tends to be relatively unenthusiastic. They often view learning English as a chore. They may be timid to give answers to avoid making mistakes in front of their peers, or they may not want to be perceived as too intelligent. |
