Mok-dong ECC

Hello from Mok-dong ECC.

Currently our staff includes more than 16 Korean English teachers and Native English speakers. The school makes use of three floors of a five-story building, an art school and a restaurant occupy the other two floors. Mok-dong is considered Korea's premier apartment district offering a competitive school district that has become one of Korea's most popular districts to live in.

Mok-dong ECC is located near the Omokgyo subway station on line number 5 and a city bus terminal. Our academy is located in a very nice area as the Mok-dong shopping area includes the Carrefour HyperMarket discount outlet, which is huge and offers everything you will ever need to buy including groceries. There are also various other stores located less than three blocks away, such as the Hyundai Department Store and other large department stores which are only a few subway stations away. Many restaurants are near our school, and you can choose between western restaurants, Korean restaurants, Japanese restaurants and even Chinese restaurants. Additionally after work, you can relax at the many cafe's/bars located close to the school and the apartments. You will never need a car while living here in Mok-dong. Recreational areas are also very accessible such as health clubs (Many foreign teachers are frequently seen working out here), Omokgyo Park, Paris Park, and Riverside Park are not too far from us. Our teachers will also be able to get to Gangnam or Sinchon (Korea's university district) by subway as both areas are less than 30 min from Omokgyo subway station.

Also near our school is the Mok-dong Ice Rink, which is open all year round. You can click on this sentence to check out the website for more information..

One period of the kindergarten class is either taught by the Korean English teacher or the Korean Kindergarten teacher and the next period of the kindergarten class is taught by the Native English teacher. Most classes are 40 minutes long, with 5 minute breaks in between. As with all other ECC schools we have between 6 to 12 students in one classroom, depending on enrollment and class availability.

The rent free single housing we have for our Native English teachers are either within walking distance or a short bus ride away.

We look forward to meeting you at our school.
