Hello from Jamsil ECC,
Jamsil ECC is located in the popular and affluent southeastern part of Seoul below the Han River. It is also close to Olympic Park one of Seoul's largest parks. Currently we have about 12 to 14 Native English speakers and Korean English teachers.
Jamsil ECC is located about 12 to 15 minutes walking distance from Jamsil subway station (line 2 & 8) or about 12 to 15 minutes walking distance from Seokchon subway station (line 8). There are also many buses from Jamsil subway station for those that prefer to not walk. Our academy is located in a very nice area, near Seokchon Lake Park, which is beautiful and is the only lake in the city. You can walk or jog around the lake.
Also, Lotte World (an amusement park) and Lotte Hotel (one of the best hotels in Korea) are near Jamsil subway station. Lotte World is a huge amusement park which has a large indoor theme park, outdoor amusement park, an island linked by monorail and a bridge, shopping malls, a hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities and movie theatres in one area. Also, Lotte Department store and Lotte Discount Mart are not too far from where we are. There are also a large number of restaurants surrounding the school from Western restaurants, Korean restaurants, cafes and bars are also nearby. Recreational areas can easily be accessed in the area as health clubs, swimming pools, and an ice rink are not far away.
Our foreign teachers live very close to the school, usually about 10 to 15 minutes walk away.
