Bundang or Pundang as it is sometimes referred to, is the newest and most popular district of Seongnam City. Bundang, with a population over 500,000, was developed in the 90's to meet the ever-increasing demand for a good place to raise a family away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. It is now considered one of the best places to live in all of Korea.

Bundang is about 6 miles south of Seoul and just 30 to 40 minutes by subway or bus from Seoul. Conveniently located Bundang offers the best of both worlds allowing its residents to commute to work in Seoul while enjoying one of the highest standards of living that a city like Bundang can offer.

Bundang is made up of mostly modern high rises with department stores, discount outlets, shops, restaurants, movie theaters, bars and all the other things a major city has but without the pollution and congestion of a big city. A key trademark of Bundang is that it provides beautiful parks and many green areas while still offering all the convenience of city living.

In recent years many of Korea's large business groups have been moving their regional offices to Bundang as it offers the Seoul-Pusan Expressway, the suburban belt highway, and several urban highways that connect the city to the metropolitan area. As well as the convenient road system, there are two subway lines running through the city making it an ideal place for industrial activities.

Once you visit Bundang it will be of no surprise to why so many choose to live and commute from here instead of living in Seoul. Bundang continues to grow and prosper in a perfect blend of nature and modern facilities.
