Hi,
We are located in the northeastern part of Seoul and can be reached from Sanggye subway station (line #4.) It takes around 10 to 15 minutes on foot to get to our academy. There are buses that travel between the subway station and academy if you don’t want to walk and it would only take around 5 minutes, the buses are affordable and fast.
The area where we are located is the busiest area in this part of Seoul. There are many schools, shops, restaurants and entertainment areas for you to go to after work. Many teachers from the various ESL academies including YBM's three other sister schools gather at the local pubs.
Right now we have more than 20 Korean and foreign teachers, 5 Korean kindergarten teachers and an administration staff of 6. Our Manager has been working at Junggye ECC for many years now and she knows how to work with the foreign staff, as she was previously an academic supervisor. Our academic supervisor also has been here for many years now. Junggye ECC like the other YBM ECC schools on this website are owned by YBM Education and your contract will be backed by the YBM Head Office.
If you like hiking, this is the place to be. There is a mountain ridge close by but please don't assume that this area is less developed then downtown Seoul. Northern Seoul is a very exciting area of Seoul with more then two million plus living in this part of Korea, offering all the amenities found in central Seoul plus more.
The housing for our foreign teachers are fairly close to the school. It is just a 10-minute walk or a short shuttle bus ride away. Also for this location we offer the loft office tell housing, which provide more space than normal office tells.
