Jookjeon ECC was formerly known as Migeum ECC and is now located just 15 minutes south of its previous location. Jookjeon ECC is within walking distance to the Bojeong subway station or Jukjeon Station which are both located on the Bundang subway line, which is connected to Seoul. Jookjeon ECC is also near many buses that frequently go into southern Seoul (Gangnam) or right into the heart of downtown Seoul.
Our non-shared private housing for our foreign teachers are located near Ori subway station and nearby there are many large stores like HomeEver and Hanaro Club where you can find food items and all sorts of goods at very reasonable prices. The housing we provide for this location is withing walking distance to the school itself. There are also fitness centers, restaurants, clinics, dentists, bars, cinemas, and a lot of great places to go shopping. Biking, hiking, running, and inline skating are all possible in the plentiful parks and mountain trails. Close by is Tanchon River, which is a great place for outdoor exercise.
Many different kinds of restaurants, clinics, and Internet cafes are near our school, which is located on the 6th floor of the Wellbeing building. You will also have access to many shops, gyms, sports clubs, etc and stores within a short distance from our school or apartment.
At our location we have a combined teaching staff of 12 to 14 Native and Korean English teachers. Most of our Korean teachers have been through ECC's teacher-training program, which make them invaluable resources. Our native foreign teachers have several days of orientation and training during which they get to observe some classes and review our curriculum that we use, which is the same with all YBM ECC schools.
If you want to work with great people, in a clean and peaceful area, then come to Jookjeon ECC, which lies in Southern Bundang and is about an hour away from Seoul.
