Hi!
We are located slightly to the east of downtown Seoul in the Dongdaemun district, hence the name Dongdaemun ECC. We are located about 15-20 minutes by foot and about 3 short bus stops north of Dapsimni subway station on line five, the purple line. This will make travel around Seoul and to other parts of Korea very convenient. The apartments for our teachers are within walking distance to the school. They are also about 800 meters from Sindap subway stations on lines 1 and 2, respectively.
We usually have between 5 to 6 foreign teachers and more than 6 Korean English teachers. We are located in a newly built six-story building that is surrounded by just about anything one would need. To list a few, there are many types of restaurants, bars, and cafes to go to after work. If you are craving for McDonald's, there is one up the street, about seven minutes away. There is a grocery store just next to us if you need to buy some snacks to eat while at work or to grab a steak for dinner. Other things include small clothing stores, shoe stores, a few optometrists, electronics stores, banks, hair salons, medical clinics, health clubs, jewelry stores etc.
