Hello from Songpa ECC

We usually have close to 30 native and Korean English teachers as part of our teaching staff. Many of our teachers have been with us for more than two years as we offer a very good working environment.

We are located near Garak Market subway station in southeast Seoul in the district of Songpa-gu. This part of Seoul is very popular because it is not as congested as downtown Seoul with close access to many parks and open spaces. You will also find all the amenities that you would find in Seoul such as famous restaurants, fitness centers, movie theaters and many places to relax and enjoy your free time. It is also part of the affluent southern Seoul district (Gangnam) that has seen property prices soar in recent years. You should be able take care of all your grocery shopping needs at GS-mart located right next to Garak Market subway station. GS-mart is a large discount outlet store similar to Wal-mart.

Most of our teachers live in non-shared one-bedroom apartments near the Munjeong area. The apartments are within walking distance to our school.

From our school you will be close to Lotte World Amusement Park, Lotte World Hotel, Lotte Department Store and not too far from Seoul Olympic Park. At the Olympic Park you can join up with many local residents rollerblading or just enjoying the nice clean air by viewing the various sculptures on display. We are also, near a big lake named 'Seokchon Lake', the Korean Great Wall (named Namhansansung), the Jamsil Sports Complex where you can watch a baseball game or even a world tour concert when they come to town as many famous artists including Mariah Carey and Jay-Z have performed here.

We look forward to seeing you at our school!

Korean food is great, but if you have a craving for western food, there is a McDonald near our school.
