Welcome to Guri ECC!
Guri City is located right next to the northeastern part of Seoul. It is connected directly with Seoul by the subway (Jungang line) as well as numerous city transit and intercity buses. Guri City has aimed itself to be a green city. It is an ideal place for people who want to be close to Seoul, but want a cleaner and less congested life style.
Guri City has all the amenities a big city would have. Guri has a variety of restaurants serving both eastern and western foods. You can enjoy yourself at the department stores and numerous shopping outlets in Guri that feature western brands as well as designer brands from throughout Asia. You can also go to the movie theater and relax in the downtown area.
Guri City has many attractions to visit and areas where you can relax and sightsee. There are plenty of outdoor activities to participate in as well. There are numerous hiking trails and walking paths throughout Guri City as the city is home to Achasan Mountain as well as several other mountains. You jog or stroll around Jangja Lake Park or go up Guri tower and enjoy the view of the city. If you enjoy sports you can head over to the Guri sports center to get some exercise.
If you enjoy culture, Guri has different events throughout the year for you to take part in. In the spring, there are flower festivals for you to enjoy. Historical sites such as Donggureung and Gwanggeto Square are there for those who would like to get to know a little about Korean history. Also there are traditional markets you can visit to view and purchase traditional Korean goods.
